The client was one of the divisions of large healthcare organizations. The client was seeking a solution where they could share internal news, policies, and guidelines with division users. As a SharePoint developer, I was responsible for the technical implementation of the solution based on the provided design. The intranet was developed with SharePoint Online standard functionality and SPFx web parts and extensions.
The client was seeking for a single place for document storage, employee collaboration, and company news and events updates. I proposed to implement an Intranet with SharePoint Online. In a role of SharePoint developer, I was responsible for solution and information architecture, design, and implementation. The intranet was built using SharePoint Online standard functionality and custom SPFx web parts and extensions.
This project was implemented for American premium foods company that specializes in meal preparation and packaging. I helped to automate the QA process on the factory floor which was done manually on paper with a few exceptions. There about 200 paper-based forms that completed during various QA inspections. I designed and implemented solution information architecture, infrastructure architecture and integration between Azure SQL database, SharePoint Online and Power Apps. In order to speed up the development process and ease of maintenance, reusable Power Apps form and flexible SharePoint list structure were created. Also, I created reporting dashboards to track the status of QA inspections and Power Automate flows that facilitated scheduled synchronization jobs and reminders.
The business owner's goal was to create a reporting dashboard that would be integrated with several enterprise applications and present data in a concise reporting format. In addition to reporting functionality, we developed custom web forms and workflows that automated several business processes like travel requests, onboarding and offboarding, wireless device request, etc. In a role of SharePoint architect, I was responsible for solution architecture and technical implementation. I proposed to use C# and .Net for back-end development and Angular with Material UI for front-end. The project had great success. In the beginning, the dashboard was designed and developed for one office, but later it was extended to multiple offices within one of the government research organizations.
