As the customer received the next round of funding, he wanted to update the existing IT infrastructure in order to speed up and automate the product provisioning and configuration. IT Svit team had to provide the following services: - Design and develop an automation tool to streamline the provisioning backend infrastructure deployment - Integrate that tool with an new CRM platform to automate the customer provisioning - Provide the design and architecture for the CRM development - Design and provide an internal messaging platform to enable the interaction between multiple third-party modules - Develop the backend functionality to automatically integrate new code from other developers and update the CRM platform. This is the core functionality, which is currently in beta. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 Our team had to handle the following tasks: - Assist in designing & implementing the cost-effective, performant, and secure infrastructure for VoIP communication - Automate the provisioning of the backend infrastructure services - Design an architecture for a CRM to automate customer provisioning - Design and implement the internal system for managing multiple third-party modules 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Our team started working on the project as one of the outsourcing contractors, but soon assumed the role of the technical lead and coordinator of the whole project. The main goal of the project was to transfer a medical services application to the cloud and to automate and simplify the files conversion for the further data analysis process. The problems were as follows: - Complex app deployment and configuration - Low app performance - Lengthy file conversion 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 The customer wanted our team to perform the following services: 1. The app deployment must be made quicker and error-proof through CI/CD 2. The app must be able to receive and store .raw files from external sources 3. .raw files must be converted into .zip files through a complex process 4. There must be a storage with folders for the ready files. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 We provided the following solutions: - Building a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, allowing us to automate and drastically shorten the process of app deployment and configuration - Enabling several operators to work simultaneously during app deployment, instead of waiting for a single operator to build the Docker image. - Automation of files conversion process to speed up the app performance - Terraform manifests for rolling out the required storage infrastructure for app operations
