# An objective of this project is to improve patient experience, to improve patient health outcomes, and reduce errors and long-term costs. # This project implements a clinic management platform that runs advanced software applications to help achieve an organization's goals. # The objective of this project is to build a software platform that is flexible, scalable, with an architecture and an initial set of applications that serve as both a proof of concept and the basis for an expanded system. # To facilitate application development, the platform provides a set of common features and services and an infrastructure for the exchange of messages and data between applications in a secure manner. # The platform includes a secure data repository that can only be accessed by authorized users, a computation engine that allows the user to execute applications in a plug and play manner, as well as a data analytics engine that can generate key insights. # As patients use the platform, they necessarily generate considerable amounts of fine-grained data. This information could be used by data analytics tools to discover new insights about what helps or hurts patient experience, outcomes, and unnecessary costs. Currently, this platform implements the following two applications to collect various data from patients: 1. Health e Gamecock COVID 19 Health Status Monitoring (Demo is attached) 2. This project implements software solutions (both at the edge and cloud) for Intelligent IoT products. I have designed and implemented the following modules: # Video and image analytics module that analyzes known/unknown faces and other objects (e.g., animals, noteworthy people, cars, weapons, and suspicious activities). # Edge analytics module that can detect the motion of a nearby object, slice the video stream into images, integrate a producer to send live video streams to the Cloud. # Conversational AI module that uses the Alexa Voice SDK to provide the voice user interface to the notifications and analytics data. # Mobile App and Web App integrate the implemented back-end modules. My role is to work with iOS developers and web developers and to integrate the backend modules with Mobile App and Web App.
Project background/context: # The intended usage of the Chatbot is to demonstrate how natural language processing technology can be used to communicate with diabetes patients. # The project is proposed to prototype the Chat bot, which is capable of understanding a selected set of medical and clinical information. # It developed patient tailoring profiles based on patient responses and sent messages via SMS appropriately. My contributions: # I prototyped the Chatbot on the Amazon Lex platform that has been trained on a selected set of medical vocabulary. # I implemented a wrapper to connect the Chatbot to the Twilio SMS messaging platform. # As a part of the team, I have provided the necessary technical support to MedStar’s team to validate the effectiveness of the developed prototype in delivering appropriately tailored wellness messages in a small cohort of African Americans with type-2 diabetes.
# The objective of this project is to create an ecosystem that makes Monitoring and reporting tasks easy in a factory. This system should be easy to roll out in the existing ecosystem with minimal investment. # To address the client’s requirements, the development of a mobile application was proposed as a solution. # Using this mobile application, the inspection checks are done by visual inspection and confirmed by inputs and observations. The mobile app stores the inputs concerning the specific job for analysis and report generation. My contributions: # I managed a software development team and worked collaboratively with other teams of the end customers. # I architected and implemented the back-end of the proposed prototype solution (using AWS) and worked with the iOS developer to integrate the backend with the iOS app.
# This project focuses on Industry 4.0 market and technology analysis to understand customer needs. # Our discussions with the existing manufactures led to the fact that the existing small to medium-sized manufacturers have been facing difficulties in mapping Industry 4.0 concepts to their domains. My contributions: # To achieve the objectives, we developed an assessment model that can conduct the assessment of existing manufacturers to specify and measure their awareness, needs and financial means related to the adoption and use of Industry 4.0 concepts. Rather than re-inventing the wheel, # I have customised the existing Industry assessment tool, covering different dimensions of a customer. It was designed to be independent of a specific technology.
