Schedule Interview NowMy name is Ravi S. and I have over 2 years of experience in the tech industry. I specialize in the following technologies: Microsoft Windows, C++, C#, C, .NET Framework, etc.. I hold a degree in Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Science (MS). Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: Expert Vetted Badge for enterprise clients, Windows Sustained Engineering, Windows Live OneCare, OMS Network Performance Monitoring, Azure Alerts Mgmt (Azure Monitor). I am based in Hyderabad, India. I've successfully completed 5 projects while developing at Softaims.
Information integrity and application security are my highest priorities in development. I implement robust validation, encryption, and authorization mechanisms to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance. I am experienced in identifying and mitigating common security vulnerabilities in both new and existing applications.
My work methodology involves rigorous testing—at the unit, integration, and security levels—to guarantee the stability and trustworthiness of the solutions I build. At Softaims, this dedication to security forms the basis for client trust and platform reliability.
I consistently monitor and improve system performance, utilizing metrics to drive optimization efforts. I’m motivated by the challenge of creating ultra-reliable systems that safeguard client assets and user data.

I am an expert vetted badge holder, for enterprise clients. This means that I am in the top 1% developers on the platform.
I worked on multiple windows components, on fixing QFEs and security vulnerabilities (MSRCs) across the following windows platforms: From Windows NT through Windows 8.1 /Server 2012 R2. Components: - Terminal Services (Remote Desktop Protocol), TS licensing and TS Gateway for about a year. - Task scheduler. - Windows Security Subsystem including authentication protocols like Kerberos and NTLM, LSA (Local Security Authority) subsystem, SSPI (Security Support Provider Interface) API, NetLogon and many other security components. - Windows RPC (Remote Procedure Call) Stack for about a year.
- Co-owned the design and implementation of Encryption for online backup feature. Worked on core backup engine changes for backup and restore, and built the complete library using CryptoAPI 2.0 to perform all cryptographic operations like Symmetric/asymmetric encryption/decryption, Signing/Verification, etc Worked on the design of key management part. - I integrated backup tasks into the design of the Smart Scheduling framework, which ensured that the resource intensive operations happen when the machine is idle.
• I worked on Network Performance Monitoring service offered as a part of OMS ( Operations Management Suite ) from its inception to GA. • Here, I worked on agent side design and implementation of "active probe" based monitoring. • I also worked on the different "worker role" based azure cloud services to aggregate the data received from agents. • I worked on Fault localization module which is used to localize a bunch of network failures to a small set of nodes or links. • Lead the efforts to review the threat model of our cloud service with the security team every semester.
• Here, I primarily worked on designing and implementing Near Real Time Alerting system for OMS (Operations Management Suite)/Log Analytics log based alerts from its inception to GA, which involved converting logs to metrics thereby reducing the alerting latency from 15-30 minutes to a maximum of 5 minutes. During this journey, I mentored a team of two developers and together, we took this service to GA. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/alerts/alerts-metric-logs
