The Ukrainian Relief Project was initiated with the goal of providing a reliable and effective online platform to facilitate humanitarian aid in response to the crisis in Ukraine. The project aimed to honor the memory of the fallen and support the lives disrupted by conflict through seamless donation processes. As the web developer for this project, my contribution spanned the entire lifecycle of the platform—from conducting user experience research and developing wireframes to implementing the design and functional elements. I crafted a custom WordPress theme with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), allowing for easy content management and a flexible, user-friendly backend experience. A significant focus was placed on creating a secure, intuitive donation system to encourage global contributions and ensure donor trust.
