The goal for the project is to create a POC for a web chat application that utilizes Microsoft Azure technologies for confidential computing. The application can shift between storing the special sensitive information in an Azure confidential database or a confidential enclave in an Azure VM. I worked on the design and development for the whole system. The frontend of the chat application is modified from an older .NET framework to a .NET Core MVC application so as to be portable to different server operating systems. The backend includes a .NET Core and a C++ component.
While I was a software engineer at Accenture, I was assigned to develop and maintain pages for Telstra's (an Australian telco firm) public and internal network. I maintained the content management system's backend (including API integrations, security implementations, transaction and session management, persistence) and also coded front-end components such as forms and dashboards.
Order Validation Module is a mission-critical order entry gateway and product catalog system for Sprint systems and external partners. Development of new features and bug fixes are essential to ensure it is up-to-date for new business rules, sales channels and products. I was the developer contact outside of US business hours having to triage and fix severe and critical bugs immediately. I have successfully worked on implementing new features to the system including addition of new fields in request and/or responses, integrated calls to other web services (both internal and 3rd-party), and coded and optimized database queries.
The Datalex Travel Distribution Platform has the payment module as one of its most important components. This module serves and processes the information in the payment page. Classes are coded based on customer requirements including fields to be processed, payment methods to be supported, and security protocols to be implemented. I was a developer working on the payment pages for airlines in the Philippines, the US, China and South America. I successfully worked on modules integrating clients for new payment APIs, adding third-party authentication for credit card payments, implementation of PCI compliance in all systems including request/responses, logs and databases, and integration of redemption points option in payments.
