Each assignment, regardless of size, represents an opportunity to bring clarity to complexity and to turn ambitious ideas into tangible outcomes. I’ve come to realize that successful development isn’t just about writing code—it’s about listening carefully, understanding deeply, and designing thoughtfully. Every client brings unique challenges, and I make it a priority to align my work with their goals, ensuring that the end result is both effective and lasting. Softaims fosters an environment where collaboration is not optional—it’s essential. The collective expertise within the team pushes me to think beyond conventional boundaries, to question, refine, and innovate. I believe that this process of shared learning and experimentation is what makes our solutions resilient and impactful. My ultimate goal is to build technology that feels effortless to use yet powerful in function. I approach every task with the mindset that small details can make a big difference. Through continuous refinement and dedication, I aim to contribute to the kind of work that not only serves today’s needs but anticipates tomorrow’s possibilities.

This is an extract from some of my projects in which I developed minimalist and distraction-free text editors (aka "Zen" mode) using Facebook Lexical framework. You may have seen similar editors on Notion.so and Medium.com. I also used Radix-UI (and its derivative, Shadcn) to handle all the complexities around popover, modal dialog, a11y.
Use case: Build a personalized dashboard for rock climbers to visualize their activity and performance using existing climb history API. The project is a Minimum-viable-product. As such we need to iterate fast and avoid investing heavily in custom code. I opted for Recharts library for its ease of use and customization. The bulk of the work lies in data transformation and date calculations (date-fns library is super useful).
- Compiled real-estate transactions, construction permits, crime stats, google trends and Tax revenues from the city of Portland and various state agencies. - Cleaned and scrubbed data in Pandas - Designed and developed a hybrid static/async-loading dashboard with Gatsby and React - Build pipeline: GitLab + Kubernetes
I was part of a team that was tasked to build an MVP to visualize microservices in Kubernetes and OpenShift. High level requirements: - React.js frontend + Golang backend - Run within Kubernetes/OpenShift - Automatically discover Istio servicemesh - Visualize services as a graph - Visualize service health & telemetry
Business goals: 1. Create an online webapp to allow clients to search real-estate transactions by property address or owner names. 2. Protect site with a Google account or Email login. 3. Refresh database with new data on a monthly basis. My work: - Built a data cleansing utility in Python + Pandas - Built a backend Rest API + Postgres DB - Built a single page app in React - Protected frontend pages + backend endpoints with Auth0 - Created text search indexes on address and owners to make search auto-complete possible. - Automated build and deployment to private Kubernetes.
