Zaheer A. - Fullstack Developer, Back-End Development, Cloud

At Softaims, I’ve found a workplace that thrives on collaboration and purposeful creation. The work we do here is about more than technology—it’s about transforming ideas into results that matter. Every project brings a mix of challenges and opportunities, and I approach them with a mindset of continuous learning and improvement. My philosophy centers around three principles: clarity, sustainability, and impact. Clarity means designing systems that are understandable, adaptable, and easy to maintain. Sustainability is about building with the future in mind, ensuring that the work we do today can evolve gracefully over time. And impact means creating something that genuinely improves how people work, connect, or experience the world. One of the most rewarding aspects of working at Softaims is the diversity of thought that every team member brings. We share insights, question assumptions, and push each other to think differently. It’s this culture of curiosity and openness that drives the quality of what we produce. Every solution we deliver is a reflection of that shared dedication. I’m proud to contribute to projects that not only meet client expectations but also exceed them through thoughtful execution and attention to detail. As I continue to grow in this journey, I remain focused on delivering meaningful outcomes that align technology with purpose.

🚀 How I Architected a Blazing-Fast E-Commerce Store

As a DevOps engineer, I designed an e-commerce architecture with 100% performance and flawless Web Vitals. 💡 Tech Stack Frontend: Next.js for speed. Backends: Medusa & Strapi for e-commerce and CMS. Media Storage: AWS S3 with CloudFront. 💼 Deployment Alpine Docker images in private containers behind Nginx. Separate Docker Compose files for dev, staging, and production. AWS EC2 with an ALB routing to Next.js, Medusa, and Strapi. 📦 Caching CloudFront has custom policies that use three origins for S3 buckets. 🎯 Outcome A scalable, secure, high-performing platform.

AWS DevOps Role: Key Milestones and Accomplishments

As an AWS DevOps expert, I have optimized cloud-based environments for my clients by focusing on security, streamlining processes, and enhancing infrastructure. Key accomplishments include configuring secure external access, setting up DNS forwarding for seamless redirection, and establishing a NAT gateway for Dev Lambda. I also optimized WordPress instances, resolved CORS issues, and maintained data privacy and performance in production environments. My work has significantly improved clients' cloud environments.

DevOps Consulting to migrate Code from 1 Git Hub Account to another

In this project, I tackled a critical challenge where the GitHub Action pipeline was unable to communicate with the EC2 instance, leading to deployment failures. By conducting a thorough analysis, I identified the root cause of the issue and implemented necessary fixes to restore seamless communication between GitHub Action and the EC2 environment. As a result, the code deployment process to the EC2 instance was successfully resolved, ensuring smooth operations of the development workflow

Portainer sysops expert to fix some issues

In this project, I led efforts to address a critical challenge within a Docker container environment where containers were experiencing repeated restarts. The root cause of this issue was traced back to the interaction between a Python API and the Bard API, consistently encountering a status code 429, indicating "too many requests". To tackle this issue, I conducted a comprehensive analysis and debugging process to pinpoint the underlying cause of the Docker containers' restarting behavior. Through meticulous examination of the application's exception logs, I uncovered crucial insights into the specific challenges posed by the Bard API 429 status code.

DevOps Engineer: Server Optimization

I assumed the role of a DevOps Engineer tasked with optimizing a Windows server environment and resolving DNS-related performance issues. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the websites hosted on the server were experiencing sluggish loading times, attributed to a distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attack causing excessive traffic congestion. To mitigate this issue, I meticulously analyzed incoming network traffic to identify and isolate the malicious sources responsible for the DDOS attack. Leveraging stringent firewall policies, I strategically blocked these malicious entities, effectively safeguarding the server from further disruptions. In addition to mitigating the DDOS attack, I implemented comprehensive optimization measures to enhance the server's performance and responsiveness. This involved fine-tuning server configurations, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing caching mechanisms to streamline website delivery and improve overall user experience.
