Problem Statement 🎯 Solar Hub's application tries to solve this problem, but its information architecture (IA), user flows, and overall UX and UI were hard for people who were new to the website to understand. Therefore, it needs to be revamped to be competitive in the long term. Solar Hub old version People know that solar panels have benefits, but they don't know how to install them, what parts are needed, or how much it will cost to install them all together. It is hard and takes a lot of time to start a solar project on your own. Our Role 🌞 Our talented team led the entire project, and we worked on ux optimization, which involved improving the application's IA, user flows, usability, and visual design. Our client was also an important part of making decisions about business goals, while our developers applied their magic to help implement the entire project. Scope and constrains 😎 As a startup, SolarHub must act quickly and effectively. We must deploy the new website in two months. We're new to solar, so we need to learn about technology, Germany's culture, etc. You may attempt it, but the client makes the final decision. Some client-requested adjustments were made despite not being necessary. Our Process 🚀 First, we listened to our client, documented the significant difficulties, and then evaluated the entire website (heuristic evaluation). Then we optimized UX in 3 steps (research-analysis, execution, and testing). After finalizing the screens, we gave them to the developers, followed by a knowledge transfer session. After development, each screen was compared to the figma files and tested for bugs The redesigned website was launched successfully & the work is still in progress.
