Experience Highlights

Issue Tracker

This is a small backend application with full CRUD functionality built in flask with flask-restful. It has a simple frontend to explain how to use it and to interact with it on a basic level. The frontend is built in React with Gatsby.

Cooking Measure Converter

This is a small app I built because I wanted an easy way to convert cooking measures from metric to US standard. The output of each action is another input component.

Meditation Group Sign In Form

This is a simple application I built for a meditation group. They were having a problem reading the emails when people signed in on paper, so I offered to build them a simple app to help them do that. We made the text larger so it's easier to read, and the submit button appears on the right so that it's easier to press on an iPad. The app converts the data into an .xlsx file if you scroll all the way to the bottom.

Conway's Game of Life

This is a small project I decided to do a few years ago, but I think it demonstrates my depth of understanding of the React component lifecycle.

Wordlist App

The goal was to build an application that helps upper-level language learners to properly focus their vocabulary studying. I led the team, and I built a majority of the views of the application. I also built the entirety of the backend. We were able to finish the project in the time allotted.
