I redesigned a WordPress blog into MVC web application with an API to connect the web application with two mobile applications (iOS and Android). Also I did the web design an graphics work.
The client was looking to build a database containing every Catholic Church in the United States including the various services they offered, so that they could offer a turn-key SaaS product for creating and maintaining church websites and applications. To complete this task I created an extensible object-oriented web scraper in PHP that could handle processing jobs for every diocese in the states and I stored the data in MySQL. On the deployment end I utilized RabbitMQ to act as a job's queue so that instead of the process running iteratively it could be broken up onto multiple threads, so that instead of waiting several hours for the entire process to run it only took about a half hour.
