Butter Insurance

I worked in tandem with another engineer to revamp an old app. The old app went through a number of different past engineers which left numerous unknown bugs and a codebase that was difficult to add new features onto. We created new repository to build a more modern and optimized app using TypeScript, Next.js, Prisma, and AWS, while also doing our best to implement new features onto the old app. In under two months, we fully revamped the app. We completed 3 phases of the app within a year. With each phase generating the business more revenue and users.

Alpha MD (TypeScript, React.js, Next.js)

Alpha MD is an online health care service that provides at-home treatment and services to male patients with below average Testosterone. This human-centered project required a simple and user-friendly front end that elderly users could easily navigate. I contributed to the development of the front end and back end of their online ordering system application which includes features such as patient/ user management, user roles (admin vs. patient), SMS emailing, appointment scheduling, and processing payments. I created admin and child pages including a login and contact page. Also, I built reusable components such as Button, Modal, Toast, Card, Stepper, and more. I developed backend functionalities such as email sending with SendGrid, SMS with Twilio, payment processing with Stripe, authentication, and various CRUD operations across the application. This project was built using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase.

Housecall MD (TypeScript, React.js, Express.js)

HouseCallMD is an on-call care professional service. This human-centered project required a simple and user-friendly front end that elderly users could easily navigate since that's their target market. This platform involves features such as patient/user management, sending them emails/sms, processing payments, creating/setting appointments, and user roles (i.e. admin, facility admin, and patients). I contributed full stack development of their management system application creating pages like the admin page, profile page, appointment flow pages, login page, and more. Reusable components such as Button, Modal, Toast, Blog, Testimonial and more. Backend functionalities such as sending email with SendGrid, sms with Twilio, payment processing with Stripe, authentication, and CRUD operations across the app. The application was initially built with React.js, Express.js, AWS Amplify, MongoDB, and Material UI. But transitioned to Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase due to a senior strategic decision to streamline development.

Melde Construction (React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS)

Melde is a construction company that builds creative and unique living spaces. Their website vision includes a step-by-step webflow conversion path that starts when the user clicks “Start Your Journey” and displays tailored information for the right persona. I completed the development of their website alone which included adding all data to Contentful and displaying the contents to the front end. This project was built using React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and fetched data from Contentful as a Headless CMS.

Land Visions (React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS)

Landvisions is a concept to completion construction firm with the goal of creating sustainable built environments. I contributed to the front end development of their website, most notably, the home page, with the goal of displaying extensive information about the client’s services in an interactive and engaging manner. I created pixel-perfect reusable components following specs from Adobe XD designs. This project was built using React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase.
