My client wanted a landing page with a marketing funnel for lead generation, in addition to a custom API which could receive customer information from any number of sites. I did all of the engineering work for the applications including development of the REST API, External API Integration, database design and architecture, general reporting, design implementation using bootstrap and material design and creating and implementing the lead generation tool.
This project was built from scratch using Ruby on Rails and hosted on Digital Ocean. I did all of the planning and development work myself. Features of the site include 1. Search algorithm for job types including Geolocation filtering. 2. Ecommerce 3. Subscription based billing 4. Profile pages for public viewing 5. Administrative tooling for adding Job types and categories, as well as reporting and user management 6. Leveraging the Edmunds API to identify car make, model, style and year for mechanics
