The client wanted a web-based platform for teaching introductory Computer Science. The platform contains programming problems on other problems presented as multiple choice, freeform answers, etc. Programming problems can range in complexity from a single line to the construction of many classes. The platform was to be as friction-free as possible. Students should not need any prior programming knowledge or computing skills. All a student needs is a web browser. Students don't need to install any programs. The platform contains a text editor, program interpreter, and everything runs client-side. I took this project from a concept to a fully functional learning platform used in undergraduate courses at NAU. I worked on the data store, web API, clould hosting and intergration, front-end, UI design, UX experience, and even wrote a Java to JavaScript transpiller.
