Oncopal is an app that tracks and reports physical and mental health symptoms for cancer patients, aiming to improve patients' quality of life. The app is fully localized and available in both English and Chinese. I managed the full product lifecycle, from client consultation to domain modeling, back-end development, and API development. I also built a fully featured, multilingual CMS in Blazor to manage the app content. The app was developed in Ionic by another developer, using the multilingual API endpoints that I created.
SITO is a fully localized, multilingual service that allows students from Hong Kong and mainland China to follow UK prep schools and interact with school recruitment representatives. I managed the full product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to domain modeling, leading to both front-end and back-end development. I developed the product using the ABP Framework for .NET, building the back-end CMS with .NET Blazor and a responsive, mobile-first front end using Blazor and SyncFusion UI components.
Nyein is a fully localized, multilingual meditation and life-coaching app for the Myanmar market. I managed the full product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to domain modeling, back-end development, and building the Xamarin app. I developed the product using the ABP Framework for .NET. I built the back-end CMS with .NET Blazor and developed the native Android and iOS user apps using Xamarin Forms v5.
Engage is a web-based public surveying application that allows users to select an area on a map of the UK and retrieve a list of all residents in that area to conduct fully automated online surveys. It is a .NET application that uses ServiceStack as the API framework, with an MSSQL Server database and an Angular frontend UI. I was responsible for system architecture and developing the back-end/API in .NET. I integrated UK government datasets to obtain resident data, geo-coded residents' addresses, and used this information to determine which residents to survey.
Electric Soul had been running for five years, but the site was slow, and the admin and content management system were unusable. I spent a few days with the client in Hong Kong and redesigned the entire backend domain model to simplify content management. I wrote dozens of SQL scripts to migrate the existing data to the new schema. I then built a .NET API along with a Blazor-based admin and CMS to make content management more efficient. The public website and ticket checkout system were developed using React and Next.js by another developer, integrating with the new API that I provided.
