The client's goal for this project was to develop a comprehensive and secure resource sharing platform tailored to the specific needs of Zemen Bank, Ethiopia. The platform aimed to facilitate seamless collaboration, knowledge sharing, and resource management within the bank's internal operations, catering to the requirements of its staff members. My contribution to this project involved developing the platform using the powerful combination of Angular for the front-end and .NET for the back-end. I worked closely with the client to understand their unique requirements and designed a modular system with the following key components: News/Blog Sharing module for creating, publishing, and sharing news articles, blog posts, and updates within the bank. File Sharing module for uploading, organizing, and sharing various file types, including PDFs, images, Excel spreadsheets, and more. Incident Tracking module for reporting, tracking, and managing incidents or issues related to operations, IT systems, or customer complaints. Knowledge Base Management module for creating, organizing, and sharing valuable information and documentation related to banking processes, policies, and procedures. Additionally, I implemented pre-login pages (Home, About Us, and Contact Us) for visitors and new users, user authentication with password reset functionality, dynamic menus and sidebars based on user roles, and superadmin capabilities for managing platform components, user roles, content, branding, and analytics. The project was a success, as the resource sharing platform provided Zemen Bank with a secure and user-friendly solution for managing their internal resources, streamlining operations, and enhancing productivity. The modular design offered a seamless and intuitive user experience, enabling the bank's staff to effectively leverage the available resources.
