➼ My college has a big problem: It doesn't have a platform for its community There's no place for discussions, QnAs, or community-produced material. I crafted a solution for that. A learning platform for the community by the community! A centralized place that holds everything (academically speaking) together. My biggest challenge was moderation. I didn't find a solution that satisfied my requirements, so I built one. The other big challenge was getting out of my comfort zone and trying new technologies (the GraphQL ecosystem).

DjangoCMS Contributions

DjangoCMS is an open-source CMS solution powered by Django. It's used globally by many people from around the world. Many of those people speak languages with a right-to-left writing direction. Mixing right-to-left content with left-to-right content without proper right-to-left support greatly degrades the user experience. The project is quite mature (10+ years) and has been written by hundreds of open-source contributors. Since English was the original language of the project, there was frequent explicit use of directions throughout the whole project and its ecosystem of pluggable packages.

TimeCapsulator is a digitized version of "time capsules".
