AI-Powered Multimodal Search Engine

- (Goal) To build a high-performance, multimodal (text, image, audio) search system for an AI competition. - (Solution) I designed a "recall-then-rank" architecture using Milvus and Elasticsearch for fast, parallel retrieval, and a Cross-Encoder model for precise re-ranking of top candidates. The entire system was built on Python/FastAPI with full asynchronous support to minimize latency. - (Impact) The final system achieved top-tier accuracy and speed, showcasing advanced AI system design and optimization skills.

SkillForge

SkillForge is a project-based learning platform connecting students with real-world business projects. I led the design architecture and full-stack development of the entire system, from frontend UX design to backend service structuring. I developed a Python-based AI matching module that recommends project–student pairings based on skill profiles and aspirations, using scoring and semantic similarity models. I also proposed and partly implemented a gamification system with badges, skill analytics.
