Implemented a Jira–GitLab CI/CD integration for automated OTC server deployment. A Jira ticket is created and its status updated (DEFINE → PROVISION → PROVISIONED or DESTROY → DESTROYED), which triggers GitLab pipelines. The pipelines first run Terraform to provision infrastructure, then Chef/Kitchen to configure servers and deploy applications. By changing the ticket status, servers can be updated (redeployed) or removed. All relevant parameters—backend/frontend versions, public IP, stage, and infrastructure tags—are set directly in the ticket fields.
