I migrated a Nuxt.js-based website for Rebind.ai to Hugo, addressing performance issues caused by slow rendering speeds despite CDN delivery. After analyzing the project, I developed a custom Hugo theme, replicating the original design and functionality while creating reusable partials and shortcodes for maintainability. The migration included a 1:1 transfer of JavaScript, CSS, and images without additional optimizations. This reduced load times from 5-9 seconds to 1-2 seconds on mobile over slower networks, demonstrating my expertise in static site generation and performance optimizatiion.
I migrated my blog from WordPress to Hugo, preserving over 40 pages and all backlinks. The blog uses a custom design based on the Papermod theme and includes more than 30 custom shortcodes to enhance functionality. I developed ExifViewer.Pro, an intuitive tool for viewing and removing EXIF data from various image formats like .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .heif, and .heic. The platform provides users with a private, secure way to explore hidden metadata such as camera settings, location, and time, while ensuring no data is stored. Additionally, users can strip EXIF data to protect their privacy before sharing photos. The website is lightweight, runs without a backend, and offers a seamless user experience.
