My role was to architect and implement core gameplay features using TDD. I developed engaging user interfaces, created interactive minigames with physics-based interactions, and built a robust API for tracking user scores. My focus on optimization was key to delivering a smooth and responsive VR experience, directly impacting player engagement and retention.
Project Objective: To create a "Snakes and Ladders" style trivia game where progression up the board is determined by correctly answering questions, blending classic board game mechanics with a competitive quiz format. The game is built in Unity with an asynchronous multiplayer API. As a core developer, I architected and built key features using TDD. I designed the user interface for the board and trivia elements, developed unique minigames triggered by specific squares, and implemented the API for asynchronous gameplay.
