The project was a process optimization software used to improve task automation and reduce costs. The software, used by Continental’s Instrumentation and Driver HMI Business Unit, defined and managed a digital workflow that moved through the lifecycle of software components used in the device's configuration and control. I was a Software Engineer who implemented end-to-end solutions, working on all parts of the system, testing and documentation.
During my time with the company, I implemented automation and validation solutions that increased production by 14%. My applications reduced the dead time on configuration tasks, thus increasing labour efficiency. In addition, I eliminated some serious potential quality risks by improving the vision system's accuracy, while also reducing the dead time in that area.
