Procurelist

Procurelist is a B2B multi-tenant application to manage purchasing, stock inventory and budget of a medium sized industry. It consists of two microservices. The whole project was built from scratch with the help of a team consisting of 3 developers including me. Idea behind the project - Currently in south asia and south east asia region there are many small and medium sized industries. These industries do quite a lot of procurement of raw materials but they often have to rely on external agents to fetch correct quotations. After getting quotations, they have to manually choose the best quotation for them. Similarly many such complex manual processes are involved. The aim of this project is automate all the business processes, bring transparency and also combine budget and inventory management into one single application. My contribution in the project - I was the software architect as well as a developer in the team. I helped in designing the business flows and also write robust, readable and maintainable code. I was involved in the making of all the modules in the project. Some of the flagship features of this application are RFx Tracking, Budget Planning, Vendor Onboarding, Approval workflow, User Controls, Inventory Management. In addition to this, I have also dockerized the whole application, so that development environment setup time is negligible.
