This project is related to selling and buying data. App has three sides: (1) seller side, (2) buyer side, (3) admin side. • I worked on different features and created slim responsive views using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and React. • I also worked on Bitcoins integrations using Bitcoin core apis, I wrote unit test cases for Rails features using Rspec. • I worked on the following features/tasks: - 2 factor authentication using active_model_otp gem, - Sms feature using Twilio gem - Signup with google, facebook, instagram, twitter and linkedin using omniauth gem. - Enable browser notifications using webpush gem. - I followed best practices and used jobs and services. - This project is based on Ruby on rails as it's easy to built a website using Ruby on rails. When I started working on this project it was having only one thousand users and I worked with them to grow users from one thousand to more than one million users. Now this website has more than one million users. We worked on the scalability of this project as well as added a lot of new features. At start, we worked to add Bitcoins support but then we removed bitcoin support and added Paypal. We implemented different views and also added some modules of react within our Rails app.
This project is related to shopify app for reselling. Many shopify stores installed this app to provide the functionality of reselling. - This project consists of Three parts (1) basic app/ seller side, (2) Api side/ logical side, (3) Admin/merchant side. - I worked on different features like generating shipping labels using Easypost and Sendle integrations. - I also worked on api side for creating api endpoints like review payments and writing swagger endpoints. - I also worked on different bugs/issues on all sides of the app and did communications with the US-based client. - This project is built with Ruby on Rails and has a frontend in React. - We used redis for cache handling as it's simple and fast to use redis. We also used redis server to increase our backend speed. - In recurate the most challenging task that I worked on was to Integrate Sendle without affecting the current working flow. Currently, app was using EasyPost. So I implemented a template method design pattern to implement a base class which was common for both EasyPost and Sendle. And I added two different child classes and implemented functionality in these classes. It is used to resell things on Shopify stores. Many big Shopify stores are using this app. We converted a monolithic app to microservices architecture and converted app to two different apps and API. We used API to handle the logical side and app side to interact with Shopify.
Sendoso is a US-based company for sending gifts, e-gifts, and email invitations. - I worked on features like adding alert and monitoring using New Relic, Feature enable/disable using LaunchDarkly, and fixed many other bugs. - I wrote test cases using RSpec and worked on frontend tasks. - This project has backend in Ruby on rails and frontend Vue js. This website is going to become a unicorn. Sendoso has a very large community of developers and architecture engineers. Having almost 200+ developers, Sendoso is the biggest project I have worked on. We followed all the processes like sprint plannings and PR reviews. I follow scrum in all of my projects and provided daily standups to the clients.
