A Youtube Channel where I post the songs I create on my free time.
The client wanted what seemed to be a simple grid to show profile pictures of the team. But from a technical standpoint this grid was anything but simple. Here are some challenges I faced: 1. The grid have different tile sizes. 2. The grid is able to dynamic re-arrange its tiles. 3. When a photo is clicked a bio is opened inside the grid, right beside the photo. Therefore, re-arranging the grid. 4. The grid is able to change its number of columns for different screen sizes. My good understanding of CSS and DOM APIs made this component possible.
For this project the client wanted a page to show scientific articles written by employees of the company. There were three interesting parts to this project. At first I had to reproduce and improve over a figma design. This was a pure visual task, my strong CSS skills helped a lot here. As for the second part I had to draft a specification for the articles. This was a bit trickier, the goal for this specification was to allow any employee with access to add more articles to the website. This was a test for my social skills, I had to iterate over the team's feedback for my specification. As for the final part, I just had query the articles for the page from Gatsby's internal GraphQL server, I had studied GraphQL before, which made this task an easy one.
