This is a project of PhD John K. Jacob. He is a Personality Research Psychologist, Founder and CEO of the Jacob Research Institute. He has wrote a book XY Theory that covers the different types of personalities and which type of personality goes well with another. He also has tests to test the people what type of personality each has. So he wanted to created a social network site, where the users can register, take a test, find out what type of personality they are and based on their results, the site makes matching and suggest users that are a good match and provides platform to create profile and chat and other features. I am the project manager of this project, and also the main developer which covers, front-end scripting, back-end and database development, and also be part of the development process of the design and coding of it and responsible of the project as a whole. In this project are used the following technologies: -PHP -JavaScript -MySQL Database -HTML -CSS -PayPal API -Google Maps API -Other... One part of this project is done and available for use, the other part is still in development process which will be released in the future.
The idea was to create a website, that will simplify and also save money for the users that want to buy inspection report for a particular property in Australia. The way it works is: 1. The user search for a property 2. Orders the property (1/4 of the price of the property is hold on the user account) 3. Once 3 buyers have requested or “ordered” the same property, then the money are transferred from the buyers and a inspector is notified to complete the inspection. My responsibility for this project was to develop the website/web-app from scratch.
