Experience Highlights

MP Materials Website

Built using NextJS, and hosted on CloudCannon utilizing their built-in CMS functionality. Pages can be created and updated by the client using drag-and-drop functionality of Bookshop with NextJS I worked with a very skilled team of designers, copywriters and project managers, and I think it turned out fantastic. I'm especially proud of some of the development work that was needed to be able to integrate the Next JS "app router" into CloudCannon's live editing experience, which is something that did not have any documentation or examples from either CloudCannon or Next JS.

Consumer Reports Innovation Site

Custom WordPress site for Consumer Reports' research division showcasing emerging tech projects and innovation initiatives. Built with Docker for consistent development environments and GitHub for version control collaboration. Deployed on WordPress VIP enterprise hosting for scalable, secure performance. Features custom post types for research publications, responsive design, and optimized content management workflows for research teams.

Piko Provisions e-commerce

E-Commerce website built on Shopify. I worked with a designer, copywriter and project manager to build out this Shopify e-commerce website for a baby food company based out of Hawaii.

Custom CMS for NationBuilder Pages

Our client was using NationBuilder as a CRM for creating a number of landing pages. NationBuilder unfortunately has a very poor user experience when it comes to creating website pages. I created a tool built with NextJS, and hosted using the CloudCannon CMS, that would allow a user to create a page using modular, drag-and-drop functionality, then copy the HTML code and paste it into NationBuilder. This tool needed to be able to be flexible to fit the high needs for customizability that the client has, and also be able to output the liquid and form embed code that is native to NationBuilder.

Duralight e-commerce

Duralight is a website build on WordPress, using WooCommerce for e-commerce. Challenges for this project included migrating a massive product database from their old site without losing any legacy data, and managing back-end functionality for a number of different sales and fulfillment services. Challenges in syncing files with team-members on this project prompted me to build a WordPress starter that utilizes Docker to to containerize files and database in a way that can be easily shared on GitHub.
