I rebuilt Kaye Frost-Hunt’s outdated WordPress site into a modern, fast, and responsive platform that showcases her LENS, EMDR Therapy, and Counseling services. After auditing her original site for UX/UI and SEO, I proposed a scope of work. She hired me to implement it, including selecting a fitting theme, recreating all pages, and optimizing SEO. The result: a sleek, well-ranked website she’s delighted with.
My client had a website built in Prismic that they wanted moved to WordPress. They needed someone to come in and create an exact replica of their already existing website in WordPress. They also needed the ability to manage content and edit pages in the future. So I did the following for them: - Set up a new hosting environment in BlueHost for their WordPress instance to live in. - Rebuilt every single page of their website from Prismic in WordPress. - Used WPBakery as the page builder for each page for them to be able to later make edits to pages. - Ran an entire website audit and refined it to look and perform as well as it could. - Completed performance and speed optimizations using GTmetrix for performance testing. - Transferred their domain name for their new (WordPress) website to be accessible through the same URL. The client was very happy with the end result and eded up hiring me for a second phase of the project which consists in creating new pages and adding new content and features.
I developed custom order forms for an eCommerce site using WooCommerce to sell dental products. Using Gravity Forms integrated with GravityWiz, I enabled product customizations and styled the entire site with CSS for a smooth UX. I implemented custom jQuery features like interactive tooth selection, dynamic form validation, real-time order summaries, and intricate conditional logic. Additionally, I wrote PHP snippets for dynamic pricing and pagination, and customized the checkout process and "My Account" page.
Calendly is one of the leading modern scheduling platforms on the internet. One of the company's marketing managers hired me to revamp the company's Preference Center page, on which their customers are able to set and edit their subscription preferences. My client wanted to improve the look of the preference center page they had, to make it look more modern and more dynamic. The project was outlined as follows: - Develop a new design for the Preferences Center Page. - Develop the new layout with HTML, CSS, and jQuery code. - Use the newly coded layout to create new Marketo templates to be used for the creation of landing pages in the future. - Integrate the newly coded layout into Braze through API. - Test both Marketo and Braze integrations. I was able to complete the entire project from top to finish. I came up with a design they liked and fully coded it. I also added dynamic toggle buttons and form validation with jQuery code (event listeners) to make the page more dynamic. I used Bootstrap CSS to structure the page and make it fully responsive. Finally, I used the code to integrate the new page into both their Marketo and Braze instances. We then completed several rounds of testing, after which, the client approved of the work.
My client had a section of their website that they wanted to restrict access to. They had a database of email addresses that were allowed and wanted a way to access that database to filter access to the section in question. Because all they had to provide was a csv file and HTML file for the web page, I created a Spreadsheet in Google Docs for them to update with all allowed email addresses. I then published the SpreadSheet and made it readable in a JSon format to access with jQuery in the code. I then wrote jQuery code to access and parse the JSon file and retrieve all allowed emails from it to apply the filtering on the front-end. My client was satisfied with the work and able to limit access to that section of their website by simply updating email addresses on their google Spreadsheet.
