A automotive products company needed a new custom WordPress theme and site developed based on Figma designs. The core pages included home, about us, and contact us. The pages had specialized layouts with unique banners with video backgrounds, specialized product sliders, grids, and more. This was 1 of 2 such sites with similar requirements. It included full WordPress setup, configuration, and deployment. Project went smoothly, and development was successful.
This website and admin system was built for a ten year old B2B company that generates over 3 million in yearly revenues. The company has hundreds of buyers in the automotive aftermarket industry who use the site to find wholesale products. The original site was of very low quality, lacked many important features, and needed an entire remake We needed a search engine, which I initially built using the raw file system as the data source. Realizing the limitations with the website after this first project, I spent a few weeks building out a full database driven admin system to manage the product details, product images, and instruction manuals. I designed and developed a new grid based product catalog for the frontend website. I updated the search engine, and also added a browse menu. The site is mobile responsive, and cross browser compatible. Each product block when clicked, displays a JS powered lightbox overlay. This overlay was built with custom JavaScript and Jquery and has features to allow paging through product images, and emailing/texting of images. More features were added to enhance the overall look and functionality. The old site's structure and color scheme was used as a guide for the new site. A new design phase was not necessary. One key feature is the lead generation landing page. This page was built in accordance with the best sales conversion principles. I also created an Adwords advertising campaign to further test and refine. The landing page currently can generate leads at conversion rates higher than 5% using Adwords. It's also generating leads from pure SEO. The Admin system is a bit more extensive than the frontend. Using a pre-built administrative system template, I rapidly developed a backend system with create, read, update, and delete functionality. This allowed full management of the catalog which publishes directly to the front end site. I also developed several additional high level features including a full jet.com API management module, a slider manager, the seller manager for the new leads coming from the landing page mentioned above, an amazon.com API module, and much more. This site is currently live and gets over 10000 pageviews monthly.
The team at Novo34 needed a new website developed for their Software Company. The primary purpose of the site being a paid membership site for a SAAS program built with ASP. I developed the websites user and admin features including membership system, CMS, eCommerce system w/ Braintree API & PayPal API using Bootstrap, coupon system, calendar script integration and much more. Website programmed with PHP/HTML/JS/CSS to support core membership and admin features. We used a premium template created by a 3rd party Designer. I "pulled" the ASP app into the template and was also able to match it's styling to the new template. Other sales related features were developed including demos, free models form/page and more. Copy writing was also done for all the various headings and none paragraph text. Client has been working with me since 2012 on their sales and conversion approach and are planning a launch late spring early summer 2014.
My long time client needed a completely new system built for their film festival non profit business. Client wanted a full suite of tools to allow management of tickets, films, events, dynamic calendar, administrative system, content management capabilities, memberships, and much more. I was able to use Codeigniter to develop every feature the client needed. From backend photo manipulation features to front end member based features. I was also able to develop the entire eCommerce and membership flow around events, tickets and dates. This is by far my best and most comprehensive work to date. The client was able to launch the site and the festival as planned.
My client wanted to start a new business and needed a website developed to handle eCommerce sales. I designed and coded an original theme for WordPress. The theme had to be compatible with WooCommerce. I was responsible for the development of product pages, checkout and account pages, and general content pages. This theme is also mobile responsive. The client accepted the designs with only minor modifications. Today this website has expanding search visibility, smooth conversion process, and growing sales.
