What Pros Wear is your first stop when searching for elite sports equipment. WPW is a content-based site that quickly and easily helps you identify gear that you've seen professional athletes wearing, but that's just the start. The main draw and feature of WPW is the complex filtering system which makes it impossible to get a zero-result inquiry. Whether browsing gear or lockers, the search, recently updated to work with Algolia, quickly and immediately filters thousands of pieces of data and removes any additional filters that would result in no results. This, combined with custom work for displaying ads, custom post types, custom plugins, a custom theme, sport-switching functionality and combining gear into lockers and players, WPW is a high-performance, high-traffic site we're proud to include in our portfolio.
In 2014, the State of Michigan expressed a need to provide training to it’s McKinney-Vento Liaisons that was scaleable, easy to implement and effective. The initial team that would eventually become McKinney-Vento.org, partnered with the State Coordinator and several Regional Coordinators to create this training. They are now working with over 150,000 staff members and Liaisons in 38 states, collection, providing Liaison training, school staff training, data collection, a robust resource library, and community platform for collaboration world class support team. We helped to develop the McKinney-Vento LMS platform to make it scalable and ready to serve millions of teachers in all 50 states. The general learning platform LearnDash was fine for course management, but they needed an extensive and complex management system to keep client data separate, manage access, automatically assign the correct version of courses to a user during registration, verifying users were part of a particular district, reporting for liaisons and more. We've built them an entire system built on top and extending LearnDash, as well as optimizing it and helping it to perform at scale. In addition to the base updates and extensions of the system, we also built several custom plugins for management and administration.
We've worked with GLG since 2018 to modernize and improve their marketing site and related systems. With a global presence and staff on multiple continents, their site needed to have an easy mechanism for updates while maintaining performance. The content management is done via WordPress, so that staff can be easily and quickly trained on making updates to content they own, managing multi-lingual content and integrating with 3rd party systems, like Greenhouse for managing open job positions. The site is then exported into two static versions and delivered to their respective outputs, one for international consumption and one for China. This project involved a complex deployment process because of the difficulty of implementing systems in China, as well as several custom WordPress plugins for integrations and site deployment into a static version. GLG is an amazing client and partner and we look forward to working with them for many years.
This project represented a complete overhaul to the Esri Corporations Korean branch. It introduced content in multiple languages, offered a customized online learning system, purchases of offline training, integration with Salesforce for tracking clients and tech support tickets, integration with Desk.com for customer service, live chat, and a slew of other services to modernize the website to work with an international client base. The site was built with WordPress for easy updating and maintenance and included a variety of custom plugins for required functionality.
