Senior Python Engineer @ Prefect

Prefect is the modern workflow orchestration platform for Python. We're hiring a Senior Python Engineer to work on Prefect's core execution engine — handling scheduling, state management, and distributed task execution. You'll write idiomatic, well-tested Python and contribute to our open-source library used by thousands of data engineers. 5+ years of Python experience is required, with a strong grasp of async/await, type hints, and Python packaging. Experience with Pydantic, FastAPI, or SQLAlchemy is a strong plus.
