Python DevTools Engineer @ Astral (Ruff)

Astral builds developer tools for the Python ecosystem, including Ruff — the fastest Python linter and formatter. We're hiring a Python DevTools Engineer to work on our Python toolchain integration layer, including LSP support, editor plugins, and CI integrations. You should have strong Python knowledge and ideally experience with Rust (Ruff's implementation language). You care deeply about developer experience and have opinions about code quality tooling.
