GoHighLevel + Direct Skip API Integration Specialist

We are a veteran-owned land acquisition company. We work with landowners across the United States and use GoHighLevel to manage our acquisition leads, contacts, and outreach workflows.

We are looking for an experienced developer or automation specialist to integrate the Direct Skip API directly with GoHighLevel so our team can skip trace existing contacts without manually exporting and importing spreadsheets.

What We Need

We want a reliable workflow that allows our team to select or trigger skip tracing for contacts already inside GoHighLevel, send the appropriate contact/property information to Direct Skip, and automatically write the returned data back to the correct contact record.

The goal is to make skip tracing simple, accurate, and scalable for our acquisitions team.

Scope of Work

• Review our current GoHighLevel contact structure and workflows.
• Integrate Direct Skip’s API with GoHighLevel using an appropriate solution, such as custom API development, webhooks, Make, n8n, or another reliable integration method.
• Allow skip tracing to be triggered from GoHighLevel, ideally through a tag, workflow, custom field, or another easy-to-use action.
• Send the required contact and property information to Direct Skip.
• Map returned phone numbers, email addresses, and other available data to the correct GoHighLevel contact.
• Prevent duplicate contacts and avoid overwriting good existing data unnecessarily.
• Create clear status fields or tags for successful searches, no results, errors, and previously skip-traced contacts.
• Include error handling, API usage tracking, and safeguards against duplicate or unnecessary paid searches.
• Test the integration with sample contacts before deployment.
• Provide documentation and a brief walkthrough so our team can manage the workflow.

Ideal Candidate

You have hands-on experience with GoHighLevel API integrations and have worked with skip tracing, real estate data providers, or similar contact enrichment APIs.

Experience with Direct Skip specifically is strongly preferred. You should understand API authentication, webhooks, custom fields, contact matching, rate limits, and how to build automations that are dependable in a production CRM.

We are not looking for someone who only knows how to manually upload skip-traced CSV files. We want the process integrated directly into our CRM.
