Create WordPress Website for Real Estate Agent

Project Overview I'm looking for an experienced WordPress developer to recreate an existing real estate website in WordPress, including its design, layouts, functionality, and pages.

I already have a reference website that I want replicated as closely as possible. I'm not looking for someone to create a new design from scratch. I need someone who can take the existing website and rebuild it in WordPress so it's fully functional, mobile-responsive, easy for me to edit, and ready to launch.

The finished website should be completely set up, with all pages created, content added, navigation working, and SEO properly configured.

Website Scope There will be approximately 70–80+ pages, although many will share the same layouts and templates.

20 Main Pages: Homepage, About, Contact, Services, etc. Each may have a different layout based on the reference website.

13 Tools & Calculator Pages: Real estate calculators and interactive tools. These must be fully functional, not just visual placeholders. It is my understanding there are plugins you can use for these.

10 Resource Pages: All using the same basic template, with different text, images, and information on each.

30 Neighborhood Pages: All using the same template, with unique location-specific content on each page.

Additional Pages: Other supporting pages as needed to replicate the reference website.

Blog Pages: Both Blog homepage and post pages.

I want reusable WordPress templates for the resource and neighborhood pages so I can easily create additional pages myself in the future.

Responsibilities 1. Design & Development Recreate the reference website's design as closely as possible, including fonts, colors, spacing, navigation, and page layouts.

Make the entire website responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Build using WordPress and a user-friendly page builder such as Elementor, or recommend another approach.

Make sure I can edit text, images, buttons, and page sections myself without coding.

Create reusable templates for similar pages.

Set up the header, footer, menus, contact forms, and other shared elements.

2. Pages & Content Create all pages listed in the scope.

Transfer existing text, images, and other available content.

Populate each resource and neighborhood page with its corresponding unique copy.

Set up all internal links and navigation.

Ensure there are no unfinished pages, placeholder text, or broken links at completion.

3. Tools & Calculators Recreate the existing real estate calculators and tools.

Ensure calculations, input fields, buttons, and results work correctly.

Make the tools mobile-friendly and visually consistent with the rest of the website.

4. SEO & Technical Setup Preserve existing URL structures from my current Wix website to keep SEO.

Set up 301 redirects for any URLs that must change.

Migrate existing SEO titles, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt text.

Generate an XML sitemap and configure indexing settings.

Connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

Optimize page loading speeds, images, and Core Web Vitals.

Ensure the migration protects existing Google rankings as much as possible.

5. Complete WordPress Setup Configure WordPress, theme, plugins, and necessary website settings.

Set up security, backups, SSL, and basic spam protection.

Configure contact forms and confirm email notifications are working.

Test all pages, links, forms, calculators, and mobile layouts.

Make the website fully operational and ready to launch.

Provide a brief walkthrough showing me how to update pages and create new neighborhood/resource pages.

Important Requirements I'm looking for someone who can handle this project from start to finish, without requiring me to build or configure individual pages myself.

You should have: Strong WordPress development experience.

Experience replicating existing website designs accurately.

Experience with large websites using reusable templates.

Knowledge of technical SEO and website migrations.

Experience building functional calculators or interactive tools.

Strong attention to detail, especially mobile responsiveness.

Good communication and the ability to work independently.

I will provide the reference website, access to the existing site/content, and any necessary branding materials.
