Senior UX Designer & Researcher, Enterprise Applications

workflow redesignProduct Analytics

Project description

Charger Logistics is looking for a Senior UX Designer and Researcher who will own the user side of our application: understand how people really work, redesign complex workflows to cut unnecessary steps, and test with users to prove each change made their work easier. You will work daily with the UX Engineer, who builds your designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe and interview users, and review support tickets and usage data, to find where they get confused or frustrated.
  • Redesign workflows and screens for dense enterprise content (tables, filters, forms, bulk actions) with fewer clicks and clearer next steps.
  • Specify interaction behavior: what is retained, what resets, and what users see while loading, when empty and on error.
  • Prototype options and run usability tests before and after release.
  • Measure impact (steps removed, task time, error rate, task success) and report before-and-after results.
  • Recruit participants from the real user base and keep a regular feedback loop going.

Experience:

  • 7+ years in UX design with hands-on research, on complex enterprise or B2B products, with several shipped end to end.
  • A portfolio showing the original workflow, your research, the redesign and measured results, not only final visuals.
  • Skill in task analysis, interaction patterns, moderated usability testing and simple quantitative usability measures.
  • Fluent in a prototyping tool of your choice (for example Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq or coded React prototypes), design systems and accessibility (WCAG).
  • Ability to work with users directly and explain trade-offs to engineers and executives.

Tools and technical skills

  • Prototyping and flows: a tool of your choice (for example Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq or coded React prototypes); no Figma required.
  • Research tools: a usability testing platform (for example UserTesting, Maze or Lookback) or moderated video sessions.
  • Analytics: Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo, Google Analytics or similar; session replay such as FullStory or Hotjar.
  • Measures: SUS, task success rate, time on task, error rate, CSAT.
  • Data skills: Excel or Sheets; basic SQL is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of how React components, states and URL behavior work, enough to write precise specs and review builds.
