The question is about app development
Vetting blends coding exercises, structured interviews, and discussion of shipped work—how candidates handled crashes, store rejections, performance regressions, or security-sensitive flows. We evaluate familiarity with your likely stack (Swift/Kotlin, Flutter, React Native), testing habits, CI awareness, and collaboration under ambiguity. Quality after placement appears as test additions with behavior changes, thoughtful code review comments, and transparent communication when timelines slip for legitimate technical reasons. Continuous learning matters as OS releases, store rules, and dependency ecosystems shift; we prioritize engineers who treat that maintenance as part of the job, not an interruption.
