Product & Interface Design

UI/UX Design Services

Interfaces people understand without a tutorial. We research, prototype, and design web, mobile, and SaaS products for US companies.

Design here does not stop at a good-looking screen. You get research your team can act on, prototypes that have already been through a test session, and Figma files annotated closely enough that engineers build them without a round of clarifying questions.

You're not hiring “an offshore team.” You're hiring a delivery partner accountable for results, with the security posture, communication, and seniority US buyers expect.

Research to Handoff

What Do UI/UX Design Services Cover?

UI/UX design services turn a product idea into screens people can use without being taught. Softaims covers the full arc: user research, information architecture, wireframes, clickable prototypes, visual design, a component-level design system, usability testing, accessibility to WCAG, and annotated handoff files your engineers build from without guessing.

  • Senior product designers

Top 3% talent with shipped web, mobile, and SaaS interfaces behind them.

  • Evidence, not opinions

Flows tested with real users before anyone argues about button color.

  • You own every file

Editable Figma sources, the design system, and raw research stay yours.

  • Built to be built

Specs, tokens, and states engineers can implement without reinventing them.

Our UI/UX Design Services

Design work that ends in something buildable: research findings, a tested prototype, a component library, and files your engineers can open and implement.

UX Research & Discovery

We interview your users, watch session recordings, and read your analytics before drawing anything. What comes back is a ranked list of where people give up, with evidence attached to each one.

  • A ranked list of failure points

Every problem tied to a recording, a metric, or a quote from a real user.

  • Personas that survive contact

Built from interviews you can watch, not from a whiteboard guess.

  • Shipping containers and logistics yard with freight transport infrastructure.
    FleetGridLogistics and Supply Chain Technology

React Logistics Platform: Optimizing a Slow Fleet Operations Dashboard Without a Full Rebuild

    Challenge

The main challenge was improving performance without disrupting active logistics operations.

    Solution

The solution focused on targeted React architecture recovery rather than a risky rebuild. FleetGrid kept React and Next.js but changed how dashboard routes loaded, how live updates flowed, how shipment tables rendered, and how heavy map and analytics modules were delayed.

    Result

INP improved from 482ms to 181ms at p75 on shipment search and operations dashboard pages.

React EdTech Platform: Fixing a Slow Online Learning Experience Without Rebuilding the Product

    Challenge

The main challenge was improving performance without disrupting active learners, instructors, and enterprise clients.

    Solution

The solution was a targeted performance recovery rather than a full rebuild. LearnSphere kept React and Next.js but changed how course pages loaded, how learner progress state was isolated, how video and quiz interactions were handled, and how large lists rendered.

    Result

INP improved from 432ms to 168ms at p75 on lesson and quiz pages.

React Fintech Portal: Improving a Slow Investment Dashboard Without Rebuilding the Platform

    Challenge

The main challenge was improving speed and reliability without disrupting a regulated financial product.

    Solution

The solution was a targeted React architecture recovery. WealthBridge kept its existing stack but reduced initial JavaScript, isolated real-time updates, virtualized financial tables, delayed heavy modules, improved chart interaction performance, and added release-time performance governance.

    Result

INP improved from 446ms to 169ms at p75 on portfolio and holdings pages.

React Healthcare Dashboard: Fixing a Slow Patient Operations Platform Without Disrupting Care Teams

    Challenge

The main challenge was improving performance without interrupting daily clinical operations.

    Solution

The solution focused on reducing unnecessary rendering work and making the dashboard respond faster during real clinical workflows. The team kept React but changed how data updates flowed through the application, how tables rendered, how search executed, and how heavy widgets loaded.

    Result

INP improved from 468ms to 174ms at p75 on patient search and queue pages.

    Challenge

The main challenge was improving the performance and maintainability of the React application while the business continued to launch new collections every week.

    Solution

The solution focused on targeted architectural recovery rather than a risky rewrite. ModaNest kept React and Next.js but changed how pages loaded, hydrated, rendered, and updated.

    Result

INP improved from 412ms to 162ms at p75 on product listing pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Enough to hand your engineers a build-ready spec and nothing you do not need. Every engagement is scoped from the state your product is in: a working app with a confusing checkout gets flow work and testing, a product with no interface yet gets the whole arc from research to handoff. We tell you which parts to skip before you pay for them, and the scope is written down before the first sprint.

  • Design-only work typically runs $8K to $25K for a focused redesign of two or three flows, and $30K to $120K for a full product with research, testing, and a design system. Agency hourly rates commonly sit between $60 and $200. A free discovery call gets you a scoped estimate, with no obligation attached.

  • A focused redesign of a few flows typically takes 3 to 5 weeks. A full product design with research, testing, and a design system usually runs 3 to 5 months. We work in two-week design sprints, so you have something clickable in your hands from the second week onward.

  • UX design decides how the product works: the structure, the flows, and the order things happen in. UI design decides how it looks and responds: type, color, spacing, components, and states. You need both. A polished interface sitting on top of a confusing flow still loses the user at step three.

  • You get editable Figma source files, an interactive prototype, screens for every state, a design system with named tokens and documented components, exported assets, research findings with the session recordings behind them, and handoff documentation covering spacing, behavior, and accessibility notes.

  • You need one as soon as more than one person is drawing or building your UI. Below that it is overhead you will not recover. The signal to watch for is an engineer rebuilding a button that already exists, or two screens shipping with different spacing in the same release.

  • Either one. Some clients take the files to their own engineers, which we support with annotated specs and a Storybook-ready system. Others keep one team through the build, since Softaims has 500+ engineers across web and mobile. Design-only engagements are scoped and priced on their own terms.

  • We design against WCAG 2.2 AA from the first screen rather than auditing at the end. Contrast is checked on every token pair, focus states are drawn for every interactive component, target sizes clear the minimum, and keyboard order is annotated in the handoff file so engineers never have to infer it.

  • Yes, and it is usually the better first move. A UX audit finds the handful of screens costing you the most, and we rebuild only those, most often the ones standing between a visitor and a completed signup. You see whether conversion moves before committing to a wider rebuild.

  • You do, 100%. Editable source files, the design system, exported assets, and every research recording transfer to you, assigned in the contract. We sign an NDA before we look at anything sensitive.
