Web apps that stay fast once the traffic arrives. We build custom web applications, storefronts, and content platforms for US companies.
Your visitors arrive on phones, over connections you do not control, and a slow page loses them before they ever reach the offer. Senior full stack engineers agree a performance budget with you before the first component is written, then hold to it release after release.
You're not hiring “an offshore team.” You're hiring a delivery partner accountable for results, with the security posture, communication, and seniority US buyers expect.

03
End-to-End Ownership
Product strategy, UX, engineering, QA, DevOps, and post-launch support under one roof. One accountable partner, not five vendors.

Full Stack Web Delivery
What Do Web Development Services Include?
Web development services cover the design, engineering, and upkeep of everything your business runs in a browser: marketing sites, custom web applications, storefronts, and internal tools. Softaims handles frontend engineering, backend and API work, CMS and e-commerce builds, performance and accessibility, then stays on once the site is live and production traffic starts finding the edges.
Senior full stack engineers
Top 3% talent across React, Next.js, Node, Django, and Laravel.
Performance is a requirement
Core Web Vitals targets agreed up front, then measured on every release.
The code stays yours
Full ownership of the repository, the designs, and the hosting accounts.
Built to be handed over
Documented code on a stack your own team can hire for later.
Our Web Development Services
Web development services across the full stack, from a marketing site that has to pass Core Web Vitals on a mid-range phone to a multi-tenant platform your customers log into every morning.
Custom Web Application Development
Software your team logs into, shaped around the way your business already runs. Multi-user, permissioned, and connected to the systems you already pay for, instead of one more tool people copy data out of.
Modeled on the real process
The exceptions are the requirement. Software that only handles the standard path gets abandoned inside a quarter.
Roles and audit from day one
Permissions, approvals, and a record of who changed what, not a retrofit after your first audit.

Web Applications
Multi-tenant SaaS platforms
One codebase serving every customer account, with tenant data kept apart, plan limits enforced, and signup, trials and billing running without your team touching them.
Typically includes
Tenant data isolation
Plans, trials and billing
Self-serve signup
Internal admin tools
The console your operations team keeps open all day, where finding one order among two million has to take a second, not a coffee break.
Typically includes
Role-based permissions
Bulk actions and exports
Full change history
Client and partner portals
A logged-in area where clients, suppliers and franchisees check orders, pull invoices and update their own records, instead of calling your account manager to do it.
Typically includes
SSO and granular roles
Invoice and order history
Document downloads
Booking and scheduling platforms
Calendars, capacity and time zones handled for a business where one double booking costs you a refund and a public review.
Typically includes
Live availability
Deposits and payments
Cancellation rules
Approval and request workflows
The requests that move by email and spreadsheet today, given a form, a queue, a deadline and a sign-off you can point at six months later.
Typically includes
Configurable approval chains
Escalation and reminders
Signed audit trail
Marketing and brand sites
The site your sales team sends prospects to, built so marketing can change a page without opening a ticket and the page still loads quickly afterward.
Typically includes
Editable page blocks
SEO and schema markup
Form and CRM capture
E-commerce storefronts
Catalog, cart and checkout rebuilt around the step where your analytics show shoppers dropping out, whether that is a slow product page or a form demanding an account before payment.
Typically includes
Payment and tax handling
Inventory and ERP sync
Guest and express checkout
Headless content platforms
One content set feeding your website, your mobile app and your partner channels, so a wrong product description is corrected once rather than in four places.
Typically includes
Sanity, Strapi or Contentful
Preview before publish
Multi-channel delivery
Online marketplaces
Sellers list, buyers browse, and you take a cut of each transaction. The hard parts sit behind that: payout timing, dispute handling, and keeping a banned seller from returning under a new account.
Typically includes
Vendor onboarding
Commission and payout rules
Listing moderation
Membership and subscription sites
Gated content, tiers and recurring payments, where the part that decides your revenue is what happens when a card fails at two in the morning.
Typically includes
Tiered content gating
Recurring billing
Dunning and renewals
Core Web Vitals rescues
A site that crawls on real phones, profiled against field data and fixed until LCP, INP and CLS pass at the 75th percentile of your actual visitors.
Typically includes
Field data profiling
Image and bundle work
CI performance budgets
Accessibility remediation
An audit against WCAG 2.2 AA, a prioritized fix list and the work itself, usually started because a complaint or an enterprise procurement form landed on someone's desk.
Typically includes
WCAG 2.2 AA audit
Keyboard and screen reader fixes
Accessibility statement
Embedded analytics
Charts and reports inside your own product, so customers read their own numbers instead of emailing your team for another export.
Typically includes
In-app charting
Per-tenant data scoping
CSV and PDF export
Integration layers
Payments, shipping, CRM, ERP and the one vendor with a strange XML endpoint, connected through a layer that retries and logs rather than failing quietly.
Typically includes
Webhook handling
Retries and dead letter queues
Integration monitoring
Web app modernization
An application stuck on an unsupported framework or an unmaintained dependency tree, moved onto something current without taking the site down for a weekend.
Secure, compliant financial software, payments, lending, wealth, and trading platforms. PCI DSS-aware builds with fraud controls and audit trails from day one.
The main challenge was improving performance without disrupting active logistics operations.
Solution
The solution focused on targeted React architecture recovery rather than a risky rebuild. FleetGrid kept React and Next.js but changed how dashboard routes loaded, how live updates flowed, how shipment tables rendered, and how heavy map and analytics modules were delayed.

INP improved from 482ms to 181ms at p75 on shipment search and operations dashboard pages.
The main challenge was improving performance without disrupting active learners, instructors, and enterprise clients.
Solution
The solution was a targeted performance recovery rather than a full rebuild. LearnSphere kept React and Next.js but changed how course pages loaded, how learner progress state was isolated, how video and quiz interactions were handled, and how large lists rendered.
Result
INP improved from 432ms to 168ms at p75 on lesson and quiz pages.
The main challenge was improving speed and reliability without disrupting a regulated financial product.
Solution
The solution was a targeted React architecture recovery. WealthBridge kept its existing stack but reduced initial JavaScript, isolated real-time updates, virtualized financial tables, delayed heavy modules, improved chart interaction performance, and added release-time performance governance.
Result
INP improved from 446ms to 169ms at p75 on portfolio and holdings pages.
The main challenge was improving performance without interrupting daily clinical operations.
Solution
The solution focused on reducing unnecessary rendering work and making the dashboard respond faster during real clinical workflows. The team kept React but changed how data updates flowed through the application, how tables rendered, how search executed, and how heavy widgets loaded.
Result
INP improved from 468ms to 174ms at p75 on patient search and queue pages.
The main challenge was improving the performance and maintainability of the React application while the business continued to launch new collections every week.
Solution
The solution focused on targeted architectural recovery rather than a risky rewrite. ModaNest kept React and Next.js but changed how pages loaded, hydrated, rendered, and updated.
Result
INP improved from 412ms to 162ms at p75 on product listing pages.

Insights & Resources
Guides and playbooks on building, hiring, and scaling software teams.
A marketing site or storefront typically runs $15K to $60K. A custom web application with integrations, roles and reporting usually lands between $60K and $250K. Scope, integrations and compliance move that number far more than page count does. After a free discovery call you get an itemized estimate, with no obligation.
A marketing site typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. A custom web application usually runs 3 to 6 months, and a platform with data migration and security review takes longer. We work in two-week sprints, so you click through working software every two weeks rather than waiting for a reveal at the end.
A web development company typically covers frontend development services, backend and API engineering, full stack web development, e-commerce and CMS builds, performance and accessibility work, and ongoing maintenance. Softaims runs all of it inside one team, so your project never waits on a handoff between two vendors.
Design decides what the site looks like and how a visitor moves through it. Development is the code that makes it work: templates, data, business logic, integrations and deployment. Most schedules slip at the handoff between the two, which is why our designers and engineers sit on the same team.
A website mainly publishes content and asks a visitor to read, browse or fill in a form. A web application is software people log into and work in, with accounts, permissions, saved state and business rules. The tooling overlaps. A web application costs more because the logic and the testing go much deeper.
Use WordPress when a marketing team publishes often and wants to assemble pages without a developer. Go headless with Sanity, Strapi or Contentful when the same content has to feed a site, an app and partner channels, or when speed targets rule out a plugin-heavy theme. Headless costs more to run, so treat it as a decision rather than a default.
Core Web Vitals are three Google metrics: Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint under 200 milliseconds, and Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.1, measured at the 75th percentile of real visits. They are a ranking signal. More immediately, a slow page loses conversions long before it loses positions.
If you sell to US consumers, to government, or to enterprise buyers, your website almost certainly has to meet a published accessibility standard. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the version the DOJ 2024 ADA Title II rule and most US settlements reference, while Section 508 still points at 2.0 AA. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, the current version, which extends 2.1. Meeting it as you build costs little. Fixing a finished site after a demand letter costs a great deal, on a deadline you did not choose.
You do, 100%. The repository, the designs, the content and the hosting and domain accounts are yours, assigned in the contract. Nothing is locked inside a proprietary builder, so another team can pick the project up if our engagement ever ends.
Budget 15% to 20% of the build cost per year. Most maintenance retainers are priced in that range, and the money goes on hosting, security patches, framework and plugin upgrades, uptime monitoring, and a small allowance for changes. Sites that skip it drift onto unsupported versions until a rebuild becomes the only option left.
